This is a student Blog the Multimodal Composition Class at Illinois State University during the Spring of 2009. This blog deals with concepts and projects pertaining to the class, however over the next few weeks compositions of mine dealing with my research on communities, video games, and social networking technologies will be reviewed, edited, and added to this blog. Given about a month or so this blog may give way to another resource or it may simply expand to become a full forum for my ideas. I hope you enjoy reading and I will enjoy writing.

Peace.

    Hello, Andrew,

I’m a professor at Rice University, and I’m writing an article about the design of visual argument courses. Like your own professor, Cheryl Ball, I believe that students’ reflections on their own projects is an important component in learning about visual argument. I would like to request permission to cite your course reflection in my article. Where could I send a permission request form?
The article will appear in an edited collection, if accepted (I have a preliminary acceptance based on an abstract, but the editors can always decline once they see the full manuscript). Linda Driskill
